Concrete pools are a golden classic. Plastics have made construction cheaper and faster, but a concrete pool lined with ceramic, glass mosaic or natural stone remains an elite way of building. We must strictly follow the construction rules and select the appropriate adhesive-filler masses. Take a look at Poolfolie.
The introduction to the construction is a detailed shell plan, static calculation and reinforcement plan. Only a waterproof and structurally reinforced shell is a guarantee for a long life of the pool without cracks. These can occur due to disregard for water weight, temperature changes, or geological shifts.
The pool lining has a dual role. It is the finishing element that protects the concrete from water and takes care of the aesthetic side. You can choose between ceramic tiles, glass mosaics or natural stone.
Instead of ceramic cladding, the concrete pool can be lined with DIAMOND BRITE cladding. It is made of a cement base, and its main ingredient is natural sand granules in various color combinations. The final layer is applied to a waterproof reinforced concrete shell in a thickness of between one and two centimeters.
When the mass is dry enough, the surface is brushed and washed to reveal the color and structure of the material. The surface of the pool works naturally, is non-slip and pleasant to the touch.
The photo of the pool does not say everything. Above all, what is hidden under his shell is hidden from the viewer. In order for the pool to function satisfactorily, it needs a comprehensive system for water treatment, heating and lighting.
Additional equipment is also necessary: ladders, handrails, underwater lights and an outdoor shower. For the latter, we recommend a solar version. Let the sun heat the shower water before and after swimming.
