I just received a press release from a recruitment agency in my city. It was sent out to help the attorney and real estate industry. You might have seen the attention that Attorney General, has placed on an investigation of the Accurate Reverse Phone Number Database and his claim that it is the cause of too many wrongful convictions.
Well, I’ve been hearing about this since the beginning of this whole mess. But I don’t think anyone with an IQ over a “B” knows how it works. I mean, it is only common sense to try to stop the recidivism of people already incarcerated, right? To increase the number of convicted felons who are re-arrested for new crimes?
Now, before you go and interview any attorneys or real estate agents in New York, try to find out more about the JPI Report and that John P. Montgomery attorney who has taken this agency to task for “piggy-backing off” of a DOJ office.
Is the person who sends out press releases and employs this expert witness, who is the representative of this recruiting agency, known to be affiliated with the society? The question is important because you do not want to be caught in the crossfire when the former attorney general and his hired expert testify on behalf of these defendants.
If John P. Montgomery is not a member of the Ohio Bar, then this recruiting agency might be up to something big. They could be acting as a front for something unethical and fraudulent. You just never know.
So if you see a “JPMorgan Realty Law” news release, a “NJRecruitment” news release, or any other attorney general press release about the New York Attorney General’s “investigation,” be aware that it could be a recruiting agency trying to get your business. Perhaps you will be working with someone who is affiliated with the case or maybe even the prosecution.
It would be best if you check with your state bar association and see if they could provide any information about this company. You should also review any membership requirements and ethical standards. What is the meaning of “joint venture” anyway? Learn more about at ประกาศรับสมัครงาน.
Some recruitment agencies put so much emphasis on the fact that they are so many that they will invite you to their offices or seminars where you are literally pummeled by many speakers. Are they really working together for you? How can you tell?
Have you ever heard of the Recruitment Agency? I have a friend who runs one in my city and I didn’t even know that he did until recently.
One of the guys he represents was a homicide and forensic scientist and he attended some of the same seminars. Apparently, some other guy was at the same seminar as this guy and had a similar experience, so he began representing him. This same guy is now a “public defender” for a different division of the “Defense Law Group” and he put on an event for a mother whose son was convicted in a murder.
The point is, there are some recruiters out there who try to turn as many people as possible into clients and as many as possible into clients who will ultimately hire them and use them to provide service to. They should be barred from representing clients who may have problems with the law. We need people who have integrity, but not crooked ones, let alone recruitment agency representatives.
Please be aware that the man who caused the New York Attorney General to take on this Recruitment Agency is a Democrat. He is running for a California Senate seat as a Republican, and the attorney general, Eric T. Schneiderman, came out against this for his state and made a powerful speech in which he stated that such tactics are not what his office does. Let’s hope that he is right.
